I mostly use my GPD Win 2 for web browsing or light gaming. For these use-cases, the default fan curve set by GPD is a bit excessive and generates more noise than needed. To alleviate this, I have created a NoteBook FanControl (NBFC) profile for the GPD Win 2.
To use the profile, copy the XML-file to one of the following locations depending on which operating system you are using:
Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\NoteBook FanControl\Configs\
Linux: /opt/nbfc/Configs/
Note: This profile has only been tested on my 8100y unit. I don't know if it will work on 7y30 units. If you have a 7y30 unit, let me know in the comments if it worked for you!
